Hand Painted & hand dyed Museum of Graffiti denim jacket, Size L. (Runs small). The goat as a spirit animal is a symbol of fertility, faith and independence. Fertility is powerful, symbolizing a new beginning. Having faith in the near future where racism, injustice and racially motivated violence will be eradicated, granting us true independence. Part of the exhibition entitled “The Fabric of America: Artists in Protest” that showcases wearable protest pieces by graffiti artists. In recent months, the overwhelming loss of life, protests across the world, demand for justice, and calls for action have shed light on our country’s deep-seated, systemic patterns of racism and oppression. Each jacket conveys a message from a different local artist that the status quo will no longer be tolerated.
