Moses & Taps to Debut Latest Body of Work at Museum of Graffiti in September 2024

German artists Moses and Taps began to change public spaces when they took ownership of the streets and trains in 1994, independently of each other. With a mutual passion for applying spray paint to trains, the duo considered the train cars and doors to simply be huge steel canvases.  By the early 2000s, they had painted many thousands of trains all over Europe. They finally met in 2007 and founded the artist collective known as TOPSPRAYER™.

Their first project was as ambitious as it gets - to paint 1,000 trains in 1,000 days. This led to their first book “INTERNATIONAL TOPSPRAYER™", which some claim to be the most commercially successful graffiti book to date. Today, Moses and Taps are known across the world and celebrated for balancing the consistent development of graffiti and their robust studio practice which has flourished since their first solo exhibition at Ruttkowski;68 Gallery in Cologne, Germany in 2013. Beyond being leaders of a generation of graffiti writers, their influence reaches areas such as graphic design, visual arts, advertising, fashion and more.
