The Museum of Graffiti is proud to share highlights from our powerful European debut at The Urban Art Fair in Paris, held from April 24–27, 2025. This marked our very first international art fair presentation—and we made it count.
In a city known for its deep appreciation of street culture, we brought it back to where it all began: New York City, the birthplace of the global graffiti movement. Our booth exclusively featured works by legendary NYC graffiti artists, honoring the pioneers who laid the foundation for what the world now recognizes as urban art.
A Historic Lineup: 1980 to 2025
Spanning four and a half decades of graffiti history, our presentation featured original and new works from icons including Blade, T-KID170, Seen, Futura, Cey Adams, Kaves, Lady Pink, Doze Green, Sonic, Quik, Sen2, Ghost, Giz, Part One, Kool Koor, LA2, Crash, Henry Chalfant, and more!
Together, these artists tell the story of graffiti from its early days on the trains and walls of NYC in the 1980s to its contemporary expression on canvas, print, and beyond.
Dynamic Programming That Drew the Crowd
In true Museum of Graffiti fashion, our booth wasn’t just about the visuals—it was about engagement. Visitors were invited to interact with the culture through exclusive events each day:
-
Book Signing with KET: Graffiti artist and co-founder of Museum of Graffiti Alan KET met fans and signed copies of The Wide World of Graffiti.
-
Vintage Poster Signing with T-KID170: Collectors had the rare chance to grab signed vintage posters by one of the most prolific writers of the train era.
-
Print Release by GIZ: GIZ debuted a new limited edition print, bridging his classic NYC style with modern design sensibilities.
Each moment was a chance for collectors, fans, and newcomers to connect with the roots of graffiti and the artists who shaped it.
Looking Forward
Participating in the Urban Art Fair allowed us to spotlight graffiti as a serious, historic, and evolving art form—on one of the world's biggest stages. The Museum of Graffiti remains committed to educating, preserving, and elevating the legacy of this global culture, and this milestone in Paris is only the beginning.
Stay tuned for upcoming exhibitions, events, and global appearances as we continue to celebrate graffiti’s past, present, and future.
