FEATURED EXHIBITIONS

ORIGINS

Trace the evolution of the graffiti movement—from NYC’s streets and subways to the galleries—featuring never-before-seen UGA paintings originally debuted in 1973.

Pixação: Marks of Rebellion

Discover the bold works of CriptaDjan, Eneri, and LIXOMANIA!.zé, representing distinct generations and styles within Brazil’s rebellious graffiti sub-genre.

JonOne's El Tiguere

JonOne (John Andrew Perello) began his career as a graffiti writer painting trains in Harlem before rising to global recognition as a contemporary painter. JonOne’s solo exhibit El Tiguere, a Dominican street slang term evoking a hustler’s grit and resilience, pays tribute to his uncompromising survival instinct gained as a child.  It will become evident that the artist leaned on dripping paint with vibrant colors to carry himself from the most humble beginnings to establishing a celebrated studio practice in Paris.
