Hidden Champion
Issue #79
Winter 2025
Featured Artist: OSGEMEOS
Issue 79 features twin artists OSGEMEOS, who emerged from the streets of São Paulo and have brought their story of “TRITREZ” to life through massive murals and exhibitions at museums around the world.
It also includes a talk session held during the opening of the exhibition “One More” at the Watarium Museum of Contemporary Art, featuring OSGEMEOS and Barry McGee—making this issue especially packed with content.
In addition, the issue introduces a wide range of creators, including:
-
Fukuoka-based artist LURK established his own distinctive style through a unique method of creating characters using uniform-width lines with straight and curved forms.
-
American artist Sean Cliver, who embodies 1990s skate culture and visited Japan for the 20th anniversary project of the Harajuku skate shop HESHDAWGZ.
-
Bangkok-based artist Aof Smith, who uses a hybrid dog-and-rabbit character motif to project social messages—including themes of war—into his work.
-
SOLID BLACKLINE, who blends Japanese culture with street culture using bold black lines.
-
The mural project JAPAN WALLS, celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The issue also includes a skateboarding photo feature titled “IN THE CITY”, as well as a project highlighting BMX riders, resulting in a highly satisfying and substantial volume.
