About the Artist:
SKE (Eliezer Pagán, Carolina PR, 1971 – 2024), is one of the pioneers that started the graffiti movement in Puerto Rico in the early 1980s. With a career of over 40 years painting internationally, his artwork has been exhibited in the streets of New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Texas, Miami, Berlin, Poland, Paris, Spain, Guadeloupe, South Africa, Medellín, Bogotá, as well as in several galleries and museums in Puerto Rico, the Museum of Monaco, the Museo de Arte Libre in Cali, Colombia, and the Singapore Museum. He has been a member of legendary New York crews, FX Crew and TNB Crew, and is known for collaborating with Martha Cooper (best known for documenting the New York City graffiti scene of the 1970s and 1980s), TD-Kid170, Belin, ISMO, Crash One, Eric Orr, ROM, SOZE, 1UP Crew and many more. SKE passed away April 1st, 2024, and his AMAZING legacy lives on worldwide.
