Created by illustrator well-known graffiti artist Yubia, the book is deeply rooted in real experiences from months spent living in Japan. At the heart of the book is the idea of “Stay Kawaii”: staying true to what you love, creating from the heart, and moving through life with kindness and good energy. Influenced by hip hop culture, community, respect, and self-expression, this philosophy blends naturally with Japanese aesthetics, street art, and everyday life.
